Hugh Jackman, who plays Wolverine, has revealed that he has beat cancer.
Hugh Jackman, an Australian actor, has made his way back to social media in order to share the uplifting news that the results of his most recent skin cancer testing were negative. “There was nothing found in the findings of my biopsies!! On the message board, he wrote, “As always, I appreciate the support, and I can tell!”


On Thursday, the actor who plays Wolverine revealed the findings of some recent medical examinations he was required to undergo. Since his first procedure to remove skin cancer in 2013, Jackman has had at least six further surgeries to remove the cancer.
The

famous actor advised his devoted following to put on sunscreen with a high sun protection factor (SPF) at all times, regardless of the season. Jackman submitted himself to the requisite examinations in order to ascertain whether or not the “little things which may be, or are not basal cell [carcinomas]” are, in fact, basal cell [carcinomas].

An increased risk of metastasis is associated with basal cell carcinoma, a kind of non-melanoma cancer that can be caused by overexposure to the sun or tanning beds. According to the findings of the National Health Service, treatment for non-melanoma skin malignancies is effective in ninety percent of cases. In Australia, more than 11,500 people are diagnosed with melanoma each year, and it is estimated that 434,000 people are treated for various forms of skin cancer.
