Morris Chestnut Will Be A Part Of The Onyx Collective Drama ‘Reasonable Doubt,’ Which Has Been Renewed For A Second Season On Hulu
The Onyx Collective drama series Reasonable Doubt, which airs on Hulu, has been given the green light for a second season at the streaming service, as revealed by Shadow and Act.

In addition, it was just announced that Morris Chestnut will be a series regular beginning with the second season.

  1. \sSeries regulars The following individuals are scheduled to make a comeback: Emayatzy Corinealdi, McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, Angela Grovey, Aderinsola Olabode, and Thaddeus J. Mixson.

The show “centres on Los Angeles-based high-powered criminal defence attorney Jacqueline ‘Jax’ Stewart (Corinealdi) as she deals with past traumas, a failing marriage, motherhood and a murder case, all while attempting to keep her life together.”

  1. \sChestnut will portray Corey Cash, “a charming, media-savvy defence attorney who often represents the underdogs. When Jax brings in Corey to assist on a new high-profile case, she soon realises that he’s more shine than substance and that he’s threatening her position at the firm.”
  2. Raamla Mohamed is responsible for the creation of the series, as well as the writing and executive production of it. Pilar Savone and Kerry Washington serve as executive producers for Simpson Street, while Larry Wilmore serves in the same capacity for Wilmore Films. Shawn Holley, Tamara Gregory and Jon Leshay are co-executive producers.

ABC Signature, a division of Disney Television Studios, is the company responsible for producing the series.
