Having being together for more than a decade, the pair finally tied the knot in 2017, and in 2022, they made the official announcement that they were going their own ways.
Just a few days after the filing of the divorce paperwork, Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa have reached an agreement regarding their divorce.
The divorce between the former couple was finalised in a court in Los Angeles on January 9, the day after Bonet filed a petition for the dissolution of their marriage, according to documents that were obtained by a media source.
The exes were awarded shared legal and physical custody of their two daughters, Lola, who is 16 years old, and Nakoa-Wolf, who is 15 years old. This was something that Bonet asked in her initial filing.
There is a provision in the agreements that states “neither party shall pay child support to the other.” As part of their agreement, Bonet and Momoa have already divided their income and properties, and they have also agreed to relinquish their rights to seek or receive spousal maintenance.
Almost precisely two years after they made the official announcement of their separation, they have finally decided to divorce.
An irreconcilable difference was given as the cause for their separation in the petition that was submitted on January 8th. Bonet, who is 56 years old, gave the date of their split as October 7th, 2020.
Following a relationship that lasted for more than a decade, the “Different World” star and Momoa, who is 44 years old, tied the marriage on October 7, 2017, three years earlier.
