As a bride, walking down the aisle with your father is a highlight. So, losing a father can be tragic. Meadow Walker’s father’s best friend, Vin Diesel, gave her away to her husband-to-be on behalf of his beloved co-star, Paul Walker. Many know Paul died in a 2013 vehicle accident. On October 23, 2021, they married. “We are married!!!” they captioned a wedding photo montage.

Meadow Walker considers Diesel her godfather. On November 30, 2013, her father died in a vehicle crash at 15. Her father, Paul Walker, died prematurely in a heartbreaking accident. He crashed at 40.
Vin Diesel feels “Protective” Over Meadow
Vin Diesel puts family first. So, he and Meadow preserve Paul’s legacy. In an interview, one of her close friends said, “Meadow is so proud of her dad. She responds to fan mail. She pays honour to him on social media, stays in touch with his loved ones, and follows his advise while he was alive.”
He told Extra he is “extremely protective” of his Goddaughter. His best friend and he starred in a movie with fast automobiles and powerful engines that preached fraternity. He still fathers Meadow.
Diesel remarked, “So, the Fast and Furious saga is the idea that brotherhood can be built by bond and not necessarily blood. Hence, Fast & Furious celebrates eternal brotherhood. I never thought there would be a guiding light beyond the script and picture 21 years ago. This other force drives you to be passionate and show it in the movie. Love endures.”

Allan Meadow planned a Dominican Republic wedding. They posted many wedding images on Instagram. Meadow going down the aisle with Vin Diesel, her father’s best friend, at a seashore wedding. A veil and bridal dress adorn her. Meadow smiled as Diesel, in a light blue casual suit, led her.
Meadow said: “We couldn’t have imagined it any more lovely and intimate. It was straightforward. Louis and I always knew what we wanted. The event was intimate.”
Diesel-Walker Friendship
Fast and Furious started it all in 2001. Paul Walker and Vin Diesel’s best buddies Brian O’Conner and Dominic Torreto are in that order. Diesel became Paul’s daughter Meadow’s godfather. Diesel fathered her after Paul died.
They were close from Meadow’s childhood till Paul’s unexpected death. Diesel’s two children, Pauline, Hania, and Vincent, and his life partner, Paloma Jiménez, have been her family since then. An insider said: “She counts Vin and his kids as family and will talk to them on days she’s struggling. She protects them.”
Vin Diesel knew Paul Walker long before Fast and the Furious. Losing a lifelong friend is hard.
We grieved. Diesel told Entertainment Tonight in 2016 that losing his brother has made the last three years the hardest of his life.
He then said, “I’d gone to Brazil two times before. I’ve always been here with my brother Pablo.” Deisel often called Walker Uncle Pablo.
He grieved again when he returned to Brazil without Paul Walker. “A lot of tissues,” he replied. Being here made yesterday’s morning hard. The cast reached out, ironically. Meadow, his daughter, reached out.
