Kim Kardashian has revealed the truth behind her response to her daughtermNorth West’s ‘face tattoos’.
A couple of weeks ago, 12-year-old North shared several clips on mom Kim’s TikTok account, showing off fake face tattoos, blue contact lenses and a faux septum-style piercing.
In the clips, North could be seen with some of her friends as they showed off their different looks – including dramatic lashes, teeth grillz and sparkly nails – in the run up to Halloween.
But after the videos were shared, mom Kim received backlash online, with many directing criticism at the mom-of-four over North’s new look.
“She’s 12 years old by the way,” one user wrote in the comments.
Meanwhile, another added: “How about go be a kid.”

At the time, Kim actually responded to the hate, writing in the comments under a TikTok clip shared by Daily Mail Australia.
She said, ‘this is such a non-issue’ followed by a crying emoji.
As the comment came from Kim’s account, followers assumed it was a response from the SKIMS founder herself.
However, appearing on Complex’s GOAT Talk with her All’s Fair co-star Niecy Nash-Betts, Kim explained the truth behind her ‘response’, revealing that it was actually North herself.

“The other day, North, if she ever posts a TikTok, it’s on my phone so she has to ask my approval and then I post it, so the comments, all that’s on my phone,” Kim began.
“Her and her girlfriends, they love doing costumes, they love doing looks. It’s Halloween season… They put on fake tattoos on their face, fake piercings, they all had their coloured hair, they looked like an opium power puff girls is what they were going for.”
Kim went on to explain that after the video was posted, the criticism began online.
“They cropped her friends out and just had her, and were like ‘North’s disturbing new look’… she was like, ‘I don’t get it, it’s a Halloween costume, it’s all fake,’” she continued.
“So she takes my phone and she writes back to a comment and she goes, ‘this is such a non-issue’.
“And then online, it was like ‘Kim defends North to the end.’”
Despite the comment going viral, fans had no idea that it was actually North who had issued the response.
“North is hilarious,” one person commented underneath the clip.

Just a few weeks ago, fans criticised Kim for letting North wear a dermal piercing during a trip to Rome.
Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast earlier this month, Kim opened up about parenting a preteen in the public eye.
“I’m like, okay, we’re never wearing that again. Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world,” she said. “As a mom, you’re kind of like learning at the same time.”
She also praised her daughter’s confidence and creativity, adding: “She’s really mature in one sense where she’ll be like, ‘Mom, I saw this and I don’t really care that they don’t like… my blue hair or this or that.
“She’s really confident.”

Kim Kardashian made honest admission about North West’s style amid ‘face tattoo’ controversy
North West’s outfit has sparked controversy
Kim Kardashian has spoken out about her daughter’s controversy after she posed online with fake tattoos and piercings.
The SKIMS founder has addressed the selfie that caused the internet parents to have a meltdown over North West’s style.
It all happened when the 12-year-old appeared in several TikTok clips, showing her with faux tattoos, blue contacts, and a septum ‘piercing’.
She was joined by two other friends, who sported matching braided hairstyles, colorful extensions, and tattoos.
With black grillz, chunky jewelery and an oversized black T-shirt and sneakers, it was clear she had a vision.

Captioning her post, she wrote: “Fake piercings and fake tatts 4 life.”
But not everyone appreciated her attempt at alternative dressing.
Soon, people began picking on North – the eldest of Kim’s four children who she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.
Telling her she was too young, internet commenters were out in full force.
“She’s 12 years old by the way,” one user wrote.
Another added: “How about go be a kid.”
While Kim previously hit back under a TikTok clip shared by Daily Mail Australia, writing, ‘This is such a non-issue’, she’s now spoken about it at length.
Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast earlier this month, Kim revealed her thoughts on North’s fashion sense, and the challenges of being a mom.
The mother-of-four said: “It’s really hard and it’s really interesting because all the kids are wearing the same things.
“But then my daughter tries to wear it and then I’m like, ‘Okay, we’re never wearing that again.’ Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world.”

North West caused a stir online after posting a series of TikToks depicting her and her friends with fake facial tattoos and grillz (TikTok/Kim and North)
She added about her daughter: “She’s usually a girl that that dresses like a tomboy most of the time and she wanted to try something that her friends were wearing and went to the same place that they went to… and it’s just like, okay, wait, maybe you can’t wear that, you know?”
She then explained that as a mother, ‘you’re kind of learning at the same time,’ but she ‘would never take that creativity away from her.’
While also praised her daughter’s confidence, adding: “She’s really mature in one sense where she’ll be like, ‘Mom, I saw this and I don’t really care that they don’t like… my blue hair or this or that.
“She’s really confident.”
It ain’t easy parenting in private, never mind how hard it would be to do it in front of the entire world.
Kim Kardashian shares major health update after shock brain condition diagnosis
Kim Kardashian recently revealed that she had suffered from a brain aneurysm
Kim Kardashian has shared a major health update following the news that she was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.
The 45-year-old revealed the news in the new season of The Kardashians which began airing last week.
During the first episode, the Skims founder was chatting with her older sister, Kourtney, 46, about a recent hospital visit in which doctors discovered a ‘little’ aneurysm in her brain.
The Mayo Clinic explains that a brain aneurysm is a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel in the brain, which experts believe grows because blood flowing through the blood vessel puts pressure on a weak area of the vessel wall.
Brain aneurysms are common and most aren’t serious, especially if they’re small.
However, they can become life-threatening if they rupture.

Kim was later seen having an MRI scan on the show, with the businesswoman at one point saying that doctors had informed her the aneurysm was probably triggered by stress.
Appearing on Good Morning America on Tuesday (October 28), Kim shared an update on her diagnosis.
She told host Robin Roberts: “You’ll see in the next episode, I did go and get a Prenuvo scan. And I had to end up going and getting tons of other brain scans at Cedars[-Sinai] with all the team.
“Just tune in next week, but everything works out.
“It’s just a good measure to go; make sure that you always check everything.
“And health is wealth, and you just have to be careful with everything that you do.”
It’s not clear if Kim received treatment for the aneurysm.

Elsewhere in the new season of The Kardashians, Kim touched on her relationship with ex-husband Kanye West, 48.
The pair share daughter North, 12, son Saint, nine, daughter Chicago, seven, and son Psalm, six.
“My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together,” she said.

While appearing on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast in October, Kim also spoke about some of the challenges she experienced with Kanye.
“People can say that there was, like, signs and maybe I wasn’t paying attention to them,” she said.
“And I think when someone has, like, their first, like, mental break, you know, you wanna be super supportive and you wanna, like, help figure that out and you wanna really get into that with them and be there for them.
“When you have kids, it’s definitely harder to leave than it is to stay. And it changes everyone’s life forever.”

Kim Kardashian controversially confirms she believes in major conspiracy theory
It’s a theory that some Americans have had for a long time…
Kim Kardashian has revealed that she believes in a conspiracy theory that’s been a topic of debate for decades.
Conspiracy theories will refuse to go away no matter how much evidence there is to disprove them.
Some people still believe the Earth is flat, with one guy trying launch himself almost 2,000 feet into the air so that he could see with his own eyes that our planet is frisbee-shaped.
Then there’s the belief that there’s something sinister causing planes and ships to disappear in the Bermuda Triangle, and the theory that the US government is experimenting on alien technology in Area 51.
There was even a craze a few months back of people insisting Labubus were possessed by a demon – and the conspiracy theory Kim K has admitted to believing in is just as wild.
But she’s so convinced she even tries to persuade her All’s Fair co-star Sarah Paulson it’s true on a new episode of The Kardashians.

Kim K believes the 1969 moon landing was faked. In today’s episode (October 30) of the Disney+/Hulu show, she offers to send Paulson ‘a million articles’ featuring Aldrin and Neil Armstrong supposedly confirming that it never happened.
“Yes, do it,” encourages Paulson. Kardashian then goes on to recall a viral 2015 Q&A with Aldrin.
During the session at Oxford Union, the retired astronaut was asked what the scariest moment of the journey to the moon was.
He replied: “Scariest? It didn’t happen. It could’ve been scary.”
There is some missing context here – we’ll get to that later.
Kim’s theory is that in the wake of Aldrin’s old age (he’s now 95 years old), he’s struggling to keep the secret of the fake moon landing like he did when he was younger.
Later speaking in a confessional, Kardashian doubled down on her beliefs.
She says, per PEOPLE: “I don’t think we did. I think it was fake. I’ve seen a few videos [of] Buzz Aldrin talking about how it didn’t happen. He says it all the time now, in interviews.”
Going on to explain what convinced her to feel this way, Kardashian details: “Why does Buzz Aldrin say it didn’t happen? There’s no gravity on the moon — why is the flag blowing?
“The shoes that they have in the museum that they wore on the moon [have] a different [foot]print than the photos. Why are there no stars?”
Now there’s plenty of evidence to show Kardashian is wrong here, but most important is that Aldrin never actually said the moon landing didn’t happen.
Did Buzz Aldrin really say the moon landings never happened?

The original video of the Q&A with Aldrin shows him go on to reveal he was referring to a specific scary moment that fortunately ‘didn’t happen’.
He recalls noticing a broken circuit breaker when the astronauts returned to the shuttle and were preparing to return back to Earth.
The circuit breaker controlled the ‘engine arm’ which Aldrin said was ‘the one that gets us back in orbit and gets us back home’.
While this definitely would have been scary if Aldrin hadn’t spotted it, he explained he pushed the circuit breaker back in with a felt tip pin, adding: “I pushed it in two hours early. Piece of cake. No problem.”
So Aldrin wasn’t saying the moon landing didn’t help, he’s saying he managed to avoid a scary moment through his quick thinking. It’s likely Kim has never watched the full video where he explains what he means by his comments.
While Kardashian urges people to go to TikTok to do their research, I strongly advise you look at some more reliable sources…

Kim Kardashian claims ChatGPT is to blame for her failing law exam
Kim previously opened up about how she was getting on in her law studies
Kim Kardashian has gotten candid about using ChatGPT for ‘legal advice’ as she opened up about her law career in a new interview with Vanity Fair.
The Kardashians star was hooked up to a lie detector as part of the interview series, while her All’s Fair co-star Teyana Taylor fired some questions her way.
The topic of AI was quick to come up, as Kim was quizzed on whether she uses the chatbot for dating advice or even just life advice.
When asked about whether she uses ‘ChatGPT for life advice’, the reality TV star said, ‘no’, but admitted she does use it for ‘legal advice’ and for help answering questions on law exams.
She explained: “So, when I am needing to know the answer to a question, I’ll take a picture and snap it and put it in there.”

Taylor then probed whether she was ‘cheating’ on her exams to get the correct answer, but Kim was quick to clear things up.
“They’re always wrong. It has made me fail tests,” she said.
The SKIMS founder admitted that it happens ‘all the time’, and ‘then I’ll get mad and I’ll yell at it and be like, “You made me fail, why did you do this?” and it will talk back to me’.
The star joked that because of this, she considers ChatGPT a ‘frenemy’ who is a ‘toxic’ friend.
She said: “But then I will talk to it and say, ‘Hey, you’re gonna make me fail. How does that make you feel?’ And then it’ll say back to me, ‘This is just teaching you to trust your own instincts. So, you knew the answer all along.’ Clocked me.”

Things appeared to be going well in 2023 when she told the Today show that she’s thriving.
“I’m still studying. I’m actually in constitutional law 1 and 2 right now. It’s my toughest; not the biggest fan of it, I’ve been sharing my struggle,” she said.
“But with that said, I took a midterm yesterday. I got 100 per cent, and then I got a 95 per cent on my other midterm.
“So I feel that gives me that boost of confidence again just to push through.”
