Tyler Perry himself has confirmed that Cassi Davis, the celebrated actor most known for her roles in “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” and its spinoff, “The Paynes,” is very much alive and well.
In an Instagram post on February 20, Perry unequivocally refuted the rumor that she had died at the age of 58 from lung cancer. He shared a headline announcing her alleged death with the words “This is a lie” written over it.
Perry expressed his anger at the untrue information, emphasizing the suffering it brought to millions of followers as well as Davis.

Cassi Davis has played a key role in several of Tyler Perry’s works, most notably as Ella and Aunt Bam in the “Madea” series. She is still doing well and is excited for the upcoming “House of Payne” season.
