Isabella had emergency surgery to remove the mass the next day, October 27, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre. She underwent multiple rounds of radiation therapy and a month-long recuperation period following her operation.

Isabella said to cancer survivor Roberts, “So I just finished radiation therapy, which is proton radiation, and I got to ring the bell yesterday.” It was excellent. It was quite thrilling as it had been a lengthy six weeks and thirty sessions.

The teenager will begin treatment at Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Centre in Durham, North Carolina, in early February. It is what I will do next. Isabella stated on GMA, “I’m ready for it to start and be one day closer to being over.”
