On behalf of Mayor Aftab Pureval, Vice Mayor Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney of Cincinnati declared April 27 to be Katt Williams Day in the city behind closed doors following the performance.

The proclamation discussed Williams’s well-known creations and appearances at renowned venues including Hollywood Park Casino, The Ice House, The Comedy Club, and The Improv. Kearney also discussed Williams’ relationship to Avondale, the neighborhood in which he played and resided.
