September 2, 1971, was the musician and actress’s birthdate in the Queen City. He performed as part of The Dark Matter Tour on Saturday at Heritage Bank Center. On behalf of Mayor Aftab Pureval, Vice Mayor Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney of Cincinnati declared April 27 to be Katt Williams Day in the city behind closed doors following the performance.

An Instagram video of Kearney reading Williams the declaration was shared by The Wiz (WIZF-FM).



The proclamation discussed Williams’s well-known creations and appearances at renowned venues including Hollywood Park Casino, The Ice House, The Comedy Club, and The Improv. Kearney also discussed Williams’ relationship to Avondale, the neighborhood in which he played and resided.

year, an earlier piece on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” program discussed the actor from “Friday After Next” and his thoughts on comedians Rickey Smiley, Steve Harvey, and Cedric the Entertainer.

Williams performed in Cincinnati once more the previous year, on his 2023 and Me Tour.
