Every parent wants the best life for their children when they leave the “nest,” maybe even going so far as to create their own family. Seeing children grow up and move away is a wonderful and heartbreaking experience.
Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith also experienced that. When Jaden asked to “leave” at the age of 15, it was difficult for them even though they knew their grown and self-sufficient son would want to live alone when he was 16 or 17.

In 2018, Jaden said to Dazed Magazine, “So often treat me like I’m not a normal person.”

Jaden might have requested his mother to let him go as a result. Jada spoke on Red Table Talk on tr*umatics. “I remember this day very well, Jaden, at 15, it was probably one of the saddest times of my life,” she remarked. “You told your mother that you had to go live your life.”

Jada truly is aware of her children. How many years? She remarked, “He really knew how to run his life because he was making movies.”

“Every child’s needs are unique.” He desired to leave. Indeed, I understand. Stepping outside the bubble made me feel liberated. I knew that if I let him go, he would return sooner.
