There’s a grownup now. Obama Malia. She is the daughter of former First Lady Michelle Obama and President Barack Obama. She changed her name to signify that she was going out on her own.
The 25-year-old’s debut film, “The Heart,” just screened at the Sundance Film Festival.
It’s intriguing that the movie titles don’t use her family’s last name.
The day she was born was July 4, 1998. Her grandmother, who passed away from cancer at the age of 52, is honoured by her middle name. Malia was raised as the President’s daughter and went on to earn her Harvard degree. She then decided to give screenplay writing a go.

However, Malia has experience working with motion pictures. In 2021, this individual contributed writing for the Amazon Prime series “Swarm.” The show featured well-known actors like Rory Culkin and Billie Eilish. Her first day on the job went well.
Janine Nabers, who worked on the production of “Swarm,” thought Malia’s ideas for the programme were hilarious and fantastic. She provided the team with a wealth of fresh ideas and wrote incredibly well. Nabers added that Malia puts a lot of effort into her work.
Another producer of “Swarm,” Stephen Glover, claims that Malia wasn’t given any special treatment just because she is the former president’s daughter. He said that the reason they weren’t kind to her was because of her origins. Glover claims that because Malia is amiable and simple to work with, there was really no issue.
Barack and Michelle Obama, Malia’s parents, wished her a very happy 25th birthday. Barack posted on Instagram, “Happy birthday to this smart, funny, and beautiful young woman.” Malia, I hope you have an amazing year ahead of you.
