Ellen Announces Devastating Death Ellen DeGeneres mourns a family member.

Elliot DeGeneres, her father, died at 92 on Jan. 11.

The comedian has been dealing with the deadly flash floods and mudslides in Montecito, California, this week.
She FaceTimed her neighbour Oprah on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday to discuss the terrifying destruction.

“Devastating. After the fire and rain, nobody expected that after we survived. “Who would’ve expected this devastation again with the mudslides, and so soon,” Oprah said.
“But we’ll do what we do. We’ll unite like great Americans do. We’ll cooperate. “We’ll help each other,” Oprah said.

DeGeneres honoured her father the following day.

“Before we break, I want to discuss something else. Yesterday, I talked about the heartbreaking mudslides in Montecito and said I had a lot going on. . Her father divorced Betty DeGeneres in 1970.

Before continuing, DeGeneres showed a childhood black-and-white photo of the pair.
I was his pride. He was kind, accepting, and loved this show. “He had no judgement,” she said.

The talk show host said her father “was very funny” and believes she and her older brother, Vance, got their humour from him.
The Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, California, is where DeGeneres films her show.

Her father took her Louisiana-born family to Warner Brothers Studios, a touching memory.
Only one family vacation. We toured Warner Bros. when I was a little girl. I work at Warner Bros. and have a stage named after me. “He was proud of that,” DeGeneres said.

Luckily, DeGeneres said she spoke to him before he died. Ten minutes before her father died, she saw a rainbow above the studio lot.

I left the building and saw a rainbow over Warner Bros. “Photoshopped,” she said. After talking to my dad, I saw this. He died 10 minutes later. Wow… I got a rainbow before he died.” Download the full video.
