Mark Wahlberg has stated that he continues to listen to his deceased mother’s voicemails because ‘it’s all I have now.’
Mark Wahlberg has revealed that he still listens to the voicemails his mother left for him before she passed away, stating that “all I have now” are the voicemails.

Mark Wahlberg, who is 51 years old and whose filmography includes The Fighter, The Departed, and Lone Survivor, is widely regarded as one of the most iconic actors in all of Hollywood.

Nothing will adequately prepare someone for the death of their mother, even if they have a propensity for getting up at the crack of dawn to go to the gym and following a regimented schedule.

In an interview with TODAY before the end of 2018, the 51-year-old spoke candidly about his mother’s departure and described how he can continue to hear her voice through recordings of old messages she left for him.

“She left an impression on everyone she met,” said Wahlberg. She was a truly remarkable person. “She embodied the definition of inspiration. The only thing I have left are the recordings and voicemails she has left for me, which I frequently listen to.

The celebrity sat down for an interview with Extra a year after his mother’s death and remarked, “It was challenging. Due to her severe illness, I returned to my birthplace to see her and bid her farewell. We continued to FaceTime each other. The actor spoke exceptionally well of his mother. He stated that she was an exceptional individual. “She taught us despite the difficulties we were experiencing and having to surmount. She took great pride in the fact that we were able to transform our lives.


In the autumn of 2018, Wahlberg relocated his family to Nevada, where he opened a second Wahlburgers restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip, according to Fox News Digital.

described how relocating his family from Los Angeles to Nevada had given them a new beginning, stating, “It’s really giving the kids a chance to thrive.” Simply put, it incorporates the benefits of each of these alternatives.
