After the separation, both parties claimed that the other had made the first move by proposing. Keyshia Cole claims that Jeezy made the first move by proposing to her. However, the singer stated that she was unable to carry out the task. Although getting married is a goal for many young women, Keyshia Cole found the concept of uniting her life with someone to be somewhat unsettling. Cole claims that she was unable to yield to the rapper because she had ambitions to accomplish.
On the other hand, Jeezy asserts that Keyshia Cole popped the question throughout their relationship, but he turned her down. In an interview with VIBE, the rapper talked about his relationship with Keyshia Cole and said, “Keyshia asked me to marry her, bought me a ring and everything.” He went on to say that Keyshia had proposed to him. She is not going to contradict you in any way. Jeezy asserts that he had no choice but to get his act together.
To this day, neither party has refuted the other’s version of events, and they have both gone on. Rapper Jeezy has recently tied the knot with singer Jeannie Mai. In the year 2021, the couple became parents to a little girl. Keyshia Cole ultimately tied the knot with Daniel Gibson. The couple were married for close to three years.
