More Details On The Events Before Young Scooter’s Passing & What Has Happened To Demetria Spence
As The Shade Room previously reported, news of Young Scooter’s passing surfaced on Friday, March 28. To note, the date also marked his 39th birthday.
It was released that police responded to a call reporting violence at a residence in Fulton County. On March 31, Atlanta Police released audio of the call, in which a woman alleged a “girl” was getting beaten by a man outside of a residence, per The Shade Room
“There was literally a shooting…There is literally a whole domestic dispute going on… I believe the girl was hurt — she was, like, bleeding profusely — blood everywhere,” the caller alleged.
When police arrived at the residence, however, they were unable to corroborate the caller’s claim. Additionally, when they arrived, they discovered Scooter fled the home and suffered an apparent injury to his leg.
Ultimately, police enlisted a $5,000 reward for anyone who could help locate the 911 caller. Furthermore, by April 1, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that Scooter passed from a “penetrating injury of the right thigh.”
“Comment: Mr. Bailey sustained a penetrating injury of his right thigh that created marked blood loss. This injury was not a gunshot wound. Mr. Bailey injured himself on organic (wooden) fencing material and/or woody debris after vaulting at least one fence,” the rapper’s autopsy asserted.
By April 2, Atlanta police took Spence into custody, per The Shade Room. She has been charged with “transmitting a public false alarm,” and booked into Fulton County Jail. To date, Spence remains in custody and has had her bond set at $7,500.
