People have loved Ed Sheeran’s music for years and have been happy with him. But more recently, after he released a picture online, some admirers are demanding that he be canceled.
People are not thrilled that Sheeran was enjoying a drink backstage at a concert with a few friends. He was hanging out with Johnny Depp and drinking Guinness.
It seems as though people couldn’t handle it after the selfie including Russell Crowe, Depp, and Sheeran was uploaded online. They were attending an Andrea Bocelli performance close to Florence, having fun and spending time with each other.

While sipping their drinks, all three of them had a smile on their faces for the camera. Jaden Smith and his father Will Smith were among the other famous people spotted backstage at the performance.
People started commenting on the picture that Russell had uploaded to his X account. Although the tweet was intended to be humorous, some Sheeran fans took offense at seeing him with Johnny Depp.
Since his involvement in the well-publicized defamation lawsuit with Amber Heard in 2022, Johnny Depp has been viewed as a troublemaker. Although he prevailed in the trial, there is a great deal of controversy around it, with some even accusing him of beating his wife.
Many were so incensed that they started pleading with him to be cancelled, and some vowed never to listen to his music ever again.
However, a good number of individuals were happy to see them hanging out and enjoying themselves.
I suppose you can’t always win over everyone.
