It’s been a challenging few years for Jennifer Garner, especially after her divorce from Ben Affleck, but this was very terrible.

William Garner, 85, the father of Jennifer Garner, left this life “peacefully” on Saturday. Jennifer is in sorrow.

The 51-year-old Suddenly 30 actress posted on Instagram, “We were with him, singing ‘Amazing Grace’ as he left us (did we carry him across or scare him away—valid question),” Page Six reports.
“While it is not tragic that an 85-year-old man who enjoyed a healthy and fulfilling life has passed away, I understand that grief is inevitable and can strike at any time.”
Regarding her father’s life, Garner expressed her gratitude for his “gentle demeanour and quiet strength” despite his passing.
“For

the way he created the character of the all-in, patient girl dad, and for how he teased with a mischievous smile,” she continued. “We greatly appreciate his work ethic, faith, and leadership.”

She expressed her gratitude to the medical professionals and nurses who attended to her father during his last few months of life.

The actress said, “Your care allowed Dad to live longer and spend more time in his favourite places: beside our mother, his wife of 59 years, with his daughters and grandchildren, supporting his beloved Aggies, steering a boat.”

“I share these recollections with gratitude for the wonderful legacy he left behind and for the kind and intelligent guy, father, and grandfather he was. Please be patient with us as we never stop gushing about how amazing he was. My sisters and I
