Russell Lamont Neal appeared to be the ideal boy band guy when he shot to fame in the 1990s as a member of the R&B phenomenon group Hi-Five. He had a neat appearance and appeared to be a “good guy”—at least from the outside.
As everyone knows, though, things aren’t always as they seem. Both Lamont and his brother Ronald Neal can benefit from that generalization. The harrowing tale of these guys killing their wives continues, and they are presently serving their sentences.
Russell just admitted to killing his 24-year-old wife, Catherine “Brasilia” Martinez, a fitness model and aspiring boxer, in June 2014.
At the time of the occurrence, Russell was a resident of Houston, Texas. According to Houston police, he entered the Houston sheriff’s station headquarters and uttered something along the lines of “My wife is dead.”
I want a lawyer, please. After that, he patiently awaited being questioned by the police and being taken away. Eventually, the cops apprehended him without any problems.
“He wasn’t resisting arrest, fighting with them, or saying anything,” stated one witness. He was perfectly composed as they placed him in handcuffs and just got him into a patrol car.
Russell informed the police that Catherine’s body was at their apartment complex after he was arrested. According to the police, they had to break down the door before they could enter. Once inside, they found Catherine Martinez dead on the living room floor with multiple stab wounds and a head trauma from blunt force trauma.

The two small children of Russell and Catherine were present in the house at the time of the murder, according to court documents. According to Catherine’s family, one of their kids left their room during the attack, and Russell allegedly informed the kid that the crimson streaks on his shoes—which were purportedly Catherine’s blood—were only “ketchup” before letting the kid return to the room.
