On Wednesday, at approximately 1:50 p.m., the West LA division responded to a call about a medical emergency that had been received. When the police arrived, they found a male subject who was unresponsive and later determined to have passed away at the scene. There are no suspicions of foul play at this time, and the incident has been turned over to the coroner for the county of Los Angeles.

Landon, Bobby Jr.’s brother, posted a picture to Instagram on Wednesday evening with the caption, “I love you my King.” After the postmortem was completed on Bobby Jr. on Thursday, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner told ET that the cause of his death has been postponed until further investigation.

When a cause of death is deferred, it indicates that further investigation into the death and additional studies are being requested by the medical examiner. This typically occurs after an autopsy but before a postmortem. The incident was reexamined by the doctor after the results of the tests and/or studies were obtained, and a conclusion regarding the cause of death was reached.
