On August 18, the body of the mother, Danielle Wade, age 29, was found in the residence she shared with her family in Louisville, Kentucky. Adriane Wade, the mother of Wade, rushed to her daughter’s house after receiving a call from the Louisville Metro Police Department. However, when she arrived, she was informed that her daughter, Danielle, had been dead for several days.
When Adriane found out that her grandson, Dreseaun, had been lying on top of his dead mother’s body for several days while he tried to survive by chewing on his own fingers, she was utterly heartbroken. The baby was severely dehydrated and had sustained injuries to both of his hands, according to Adriane. Despite this, she considers the fact that Dreseaun was able to live without his mother for such a significant amount of time to be a blessing. She is convinced that God played a part in her husband’s survival and that it was an incredible miracle that he was able to live.
Overdosing on drugs was the cause of Danielle’s death, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department’s investigation.
