The 73-year-old Olympic gold medallist posted a picture of herself speaking at Esther’s funeral on Instagram on Friday. Age 96, Esther passed away on April 20.
“I spoke yesterday at my mother’s memorial ceremony. One of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do, Caitlyn captioned the picture. “I miss her every day, so much. She is in a better place and is missed and adored.
The comment section contained a remembrance from Jenner’s son Brandon Jenner who called his grandmother “an amazing woman.”
He wrote, “So happy I got to say a last goodbye over the phone.” The time she told me, amid the rising smoke in her condo, “It’s not the cigarettes that will kill you, it’s the filters that will kill you” will always be one of my favourite memories.
The 41-year-old Brandon continued, “She rolled her own her entire life till 96 years old. She might have had a point, though. Grandma, see you on the other side.
Kylie Jenner, Caitlyn’s daughter, also reacted by sending a series of white heart emoticons.
