Recently, a high school senior from Arkansas set out on a six-hour drive to try to get the perfect dress to go to her prom. However, when she finally arrived at the store that she had driven all the way there, she discovered that it was closed. Whitley Lewis, who was 18 years old at the time, had her heart set on wearing a specific dress to her prom, but she was unable to find it at any of the stores that were local to her home in Arkansas. She was eventually successful in obtaining the dress on the internet; unfortunately, the only store that supplied it was situated in Mississippi, which was a six-hour travel away from where she was stationed.

Ballard made an offer to Lewis after having a talk with Lewis and knowing more about her. The offer was to give Lewis the outfit that she had travelled all the way there for without charging her for it. Lewis had travelled all the way there for the outfit.
