After Diana’s tragic death, Charles realized he loved her; she was the first woman who “showed him true love.”

Princess Diana’s life as a Royal was notoriously difficult. She was followed everywhere she went, as photographs of her became indispensable to British tabloid publications.
Diana was not only persecuted, but her marriage to King Charles was also complicated by love issues and extramarital affairs. In the end, the couple divorced, and shortly thereafter, the beloved Princess died in that infamous Paris car accident.

According to Diana’s astrologer, Penny Thornton, he also confirmed in this note that he did not love her.
Princess Diana was universally adored. She was humorous, down-to-earth, a loving mother, and a wonderful example for many.

The tragic car accident in Paris that took Diana’s life will be remembered forever. Diana was lamented around the globe, and her legacy will endure forever.
Diana was pursued by the paparazzi for the majority of her royal life; it is not an exaggeration to say that she became the most photographed person in the world.
King Charles – Princess Diana
Everyone desired a small portion of the princess. According to The Guardian, the paparazzi offered up to $500,000 for grainy photographs of her.
William and Harry witnessed both sides of how the press treated their mother. Harry only recently revealed that he wanted to leave the Royal Family in his early 20s, due in large part to how his mother was treated prior to her death.
Harry explained, “Look what it did to my mother; how am I ever going to settle down and have a family when I know it will happen again?” “I do not wish to participate in this.”
In addition to leading an extremely public life, Princess Diana had numerous personal issues. The one involving her husband, King Charles, was the largest.
Just a few years after his marriage to Diana, Charles began an affair with Camilla, who would become his second wife.

The couple dated for a time, but their relationship ended when Charles left to join the Royal Navy. Camilla was involved and engaged to Andrew Parker Bowles when he returned.
Camilla and Bowles wed in 1973, but Camilla maintained a close and cordial relationship with Charles. Back then, Charles began dating Diana Spencer, who was 16 years old.
When Diana was introduced to the Bowles, Camilla thought the young lady was “cute and sweet” and gave her approval. Diana and Camilla initially got along well. But then the situation became unsettling.
“I met Camilla at an early age. I was welcomed into the group, but I posed a threat. Diana explains in the book “Diana: In Her Own Words”: “I was a very young girl, but I posed a threat.”
A meal with Camilla
Camilla wrote a letter to the Princess following Diana and Charles’ engagement.
“Such astounding news. When the Prince of Wales visits Australia and New Zealand, let’s have lunch. And enjoy seeing the ring. With affection, Camilla.”
Diana invited Camilla to lunch, but the event ended up being humiliating. Or, as Diana put it, “extremely, extremely difficult.”
Camilla made odd questions throughout lunch, and the young and immature Diana did not fully get her intent.
Camilla wanted to know, among other things, if Diana planned to accompany Charles when he went hunting.
“[Camilla] asked, ‘Are you not going to hunt?'” Morton was explained by Diana. “I replied ‘On what?'” She uttered, “Horse.” You will not be hunting when you move to Highgrove, correct? I answered, ‘No.’ She stated, “I was just curious.”

Following that meal, Diana got suspicious. She knew that Camilla wanted to learn about her routines and inquire whether she may accompany Charles on hunting outings.
Just prior to the wedding, Diana and her sisters had another lunch together.
“I walked upstairs, had lunch with my sisters, and told them, ‘I cannot marry him. I cannot accomplish this. This is utterly incredible,'” In the documentary Diana: In Her Own Words, Diana can be heard speaking on an audio recording. “They were amazing and said, ‘Well, tough luck, Duch. Your face is on the dish towel, therefore it’s too late for cowardice.'”
Encountering Camilla
According to Charles’ official biography, as cited by Town & Country, Charles and Camilla began their relationship in 1986. At the time, Prince Charles was still married to Princess Diana, and she learned of the affair.
Diana confronted Camilla in 1989 regarding the affair, telling her to back off.
Camilla recalled Diana saying, “I know what’s going on between you and Charles, and I want you to know,” in a tape released by The Telegraph, as cited by Town & Country.
“[Diana] told me, ‘You have everything you’ve ever desired. You have all the men in the world falling in love with you, and you have two beautiful children. What else could you possibly want?'”
Therefore, I stated, ‘I want my husband’ And I said, “I’m sorry I’m in the way; this must be hell for you both.” But I am aware of the situation. “Do not treat me like an idiot,'” Camilla stated.
This must have come as a great shock to Diana, as her husband no longer appeared to want her. However, Charles’s problems did not begin at that time. Even before the wedding, it was evident that Charles had other plans in mind. Penny Thornton, Diana’s astrologer, asserts that this is the case.
Charles and Diana met in 1980 and began dating shortly thereafter. Charles proposed after only one year, and the pair announced their engagement in 1981.
Charles told BBC Radio after the news, “She had planned to go to Australia with her mother for quite some time, so I figured I’d ask her then so that she’d have an opportunity to mull it over while she’s away and say she can’t stand the whole idea—or not.”
In actuality, Princess Diana was reported to have accepted his proposal immediately.

Charles’ secret note to Diana prior to their marriage
Prior to their engagement, though, Diana had expressed reservations about marrying Charles.
“We had this horrifying interview the day we announced our engagement,” she recounted in Diana: Her Life and Times. Her Own Phrases “And then this idiotic reporter said, ‘Are you in love?'” I remarked, “What a difficult question!”
“Therefore, I responded, ‘Of course, we are,’ to which Charles replied, ‘Whatever love means.’ And that completely threw me off. I thought the response was odd. I was traumatized.”
The wedding of King Charles and Princess Diana took place in St. Paul’s Cathedral in London on July 29, 1981. It was a joyous day for all those who attended to witness the wedding. However, something that occurred the day before left Diana in a state of terror.
She was nervous the night before the wedding, as would be expected of anyone. According to stories, Princess Diana stayed at Clarence House that evening and received an unexpected gift from Prince Charles. It supposedly contained a memo in which he made a shocking confession.
