It appears that the story is still ongoing, with Jada Pinkett-Smith, her husband Will Smith, and August Alsina all entangled in the web of “entanglement.” Actress LisaRaye McCoy is the latest to try and join the conversation; she recently took a seat and made an admission that will definitely make tongues wag.
The actress from “The Player’s Club” is no stranger to the spotlight over her romantic relationships. She has been married twice and divorced once, in 1992 from former NFL player Tony Martin. She was titled “First Lady of Turks and Caicos” when her second marriage, which lasted two years, ended in April 2006 when she wed Michael Misick, the premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands at the time. The couple’s impending divorce was subsequently declared in an August 2008 statement issued by Misick.

McCoy went on Facebook Live to say that she was “lonely” and happy to be on the show since she was in fact looking for love. She claims that although the two shared a lot of “friend energy,” there was no chemistry in their “relationship.” She claimed that despite their best efforts, love was absent.
The actress has been referred to as a “gold digger” for many years. She continued by responding to those accusations in relation to this particular circumstance and outlining the qualities she truly values in a man.
“It is not my desire to wear pants in a relationship. In the video, she stated, “I wear the pants now.” “Since we’re already paying our expenses on a survival level, I won’t be standing in front of someone and trying to figure out how we’re going to accomplish it. That bullshit about “Oh, she’s a gold digger” is just not what I want to hear. Gold mining is high school, as I mentioned. Right now, I’m platinum. I’m not going to change that, so I want someone who won’t feel threatened by entering my life or joining my way of life. Since I’m growing every day, if you can’t handle it where I am right now, you won’t be able to handle it when I grow much more.
And who better than Will Smith to satisfy her cravings for “platinum status”? When Jada Pinkett-Smith was the lead actress in the sitcom “All Of Us,” which the couple created and executive produced, the two (as well as their spouse) collaborated previously. The concept of the show was partially inspired by the Smiths’ own mixed family.
Following the devastating outcry against Jada upon learning of Pinkett-Smith and August Alsina’s involvement, the pair decided to speak with Jada on her Red Table Talk program. LisaRaye made the decision to weigh in on the criticism on an episode of “Out Loud” with Claudia Jordan. “It seems to me that he was a newborn. Now, I’m fine for dating someone younger if that’s what you want to do. But given his situation and the reason he approached her, hurt and wounded, how in the world did he get off her lap, and how did you [Smith] get upon the d-? I’m not sure I get it.
She is now putting further fuel on the fire after she revealed, in an interview with Garcelle Beauvais’s “Going To Bed” podcast, that she finds Will Smith appealing and would love to get involved with the married actor. The discussion starts at approximately 17:10. LisaRaye is asked by Garcelle who she truly wants in her life. “You don’t have to say who you want; just describe them.”
In response, LisaRaye says, “I can tell you right now. Smith, Will. “Girl, you can’t pick him, he is married,” Garcelle answers. Then LisaRaye continues, “Why can’t I? We are able to become entangled.
“I’m saying a Will Smith type, you know, like he’s so charming,” LisaRaye continues to remark to Beauvais. He is wealthy, a philanthropist, and a poet. He’s an amazing father and a humanitarian. She responded in a way that astounded Garcelle, who interrupted her, demanding that they get on to Sherri Shepard’s remark so she could “stop this train.”
She had previously made an appearance on an episode of TV One’s “Uncensored,” during which she expressed her enthusiasm over kissing the actor from All of Us. During McCoy’s Uncensored program on TV One, she exclaimed about kissing Will. “Director Will Smith oversaw two of our shows. She smiles and continues, “He played my boyfriend, and I had to kiss him and I was like, ‘Bring it on.'” “I think I was stuck when he let me go after we kissed and I closed my eyes during the scene. Is that the sensation of a skyrocket? You can’t be kissing that man in that way, girl—he’s married.
